I did not make the Friday night thing last time but out of what I heard everyone like the idea of meeting at separate bars and then all meeting up at the end.
I heard Trivia is a BIG thing down there. It hasn't even begun here yet. But with that in mind why not do a shoren version of that trivia at each bar. Trivia about each school. It can be really short by having ten questions each about each school. (a total of 30 questions) Then at the mixer at the end people would be inclinded to ask the other school the right answers. At each bar it doesn't have to be a sit down thing. Just have the questions printed out and it cost $1.00 to get the sheet and the person with most answer wins the money. You should make a time limit on it. (doesn't matter if they get help or not. One person gets the money and if they want to split it that is upl to them.) The money would help that person curb the cost of their drinks. 100% goes back out. (unless you want to keep some to cover costs)
